Out of the 6600+ verses in the Quran, 350 deal with &#8220;law&#8221;. The Quranic laws may be divided into two broad categories: 1) rituals \/ acts of worship (<i>ib\u0101d\u0101t \/ <\/i><strong>\u0639\u0628\u0627\u062f\u0627\u062a<\/strong>), and 2) social relations (<i>mu\u02bf\u0101mal\u0101t \/ <\/i><strong>\u0645\u0639\u0627\u0645\u0644\u0627\u062a<\/strong>). The ritual \/ acts of worship laws regulate a faithful&#8217;s relation with God; they are are eternal, because their subject matter is fixed. Social relation laws regulate a faithful&#8217;s relation with other humans; they <em>may<\/em> change overtime, because their subject matter (society) evolves.
